Season 1 of Tandav was released on 15 January 2021 on Amazon prime video. After its massive hits and lots of love from the fans, the team decided to release season 2 of Tandav. Despite the controversies, Ali Abbas Zafar and the team decided to release its season 2. The actual release date of Tandav 2 has not been fixed yet. It is estimated to be released at the end of the year 2022. The show is expected to start its shoot in June 2021.

Ali Abbas Zafar is the creative director of Tandav. Saif Ali Khan (Samar Pratap Singh) is the son of Devaki Nandan Singh, the three-time prime minister. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub (Shiva Shekhar) is a VNU student. Dimple Kapadia (Anuradha Kishore) is Devaki’s old friend. Sarah Jane Dias (Ayesha Pratap Singh) is Samar’s wife.
