Sakshi Dhoni was born on 19th November 1988. Sakshi Dhoni was born and brought up in Lekhapani town in Tinsukia district, Assam. She received her primary education at Welham Girls School, Dehradun. When her family shifted to Ranchi, she completed her schooling at Jawahar Vidya Mandir.
