Sahil Khattar is a YouTuber and actor who rose to prominence after he got casted for the movie 83 in the role of Syed Kirmani.He was also nominated for his role in the movie as Best Performance by an Ensemble Cast. He debuted in the field of acting with the movie ‘200 Halla Ho’ portraying the character named Bali Choudhary. He was appreciated by many for his role. Early Life

Sahil was born in a Punjabi family in Chandigarh on March 21, 1991. His father is a businessman and his mother is a homemaker.

Sahil did his schooling from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-16, Chandigarh. Later, he enrolled at the D.A.V. College Chandigarh to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

Career

Sahil rose to fame after he started appearing in comedy videos for the YouTube channel “Being Indian.”

Sahil started his career in 2007 as a Radio Jockey.After completing his formal studies, he worked as a RJ for Radio Mirchi, a local Radio channel of Chandigarh. He hosted a show called “Love Guru” on the radio channel.

Then, he started hosting Reality Shows and he has hosted a number of shows including Dance India Dance, Season 6 along with Amruta Khanvilkar.India’s Raw Star and India’s Got Talent. He has also been a part of many sports telecasts like Russia World Cup 2018 on Sony Ten 3, the Pro wrestling League, and the live cricket show like the India tour of England on Sony Liv.

He had also done minor roles in a few movies but he received his major breakthrough in the year 2021 after he was seen in movie 200,Ho Halla which was released on digital platform in August 2021. In the same year he was seen in sports film ’83’ where he portrayed the character of Syed Kirmani. 

In November 2021, Sahil became the co-owner of the YouTube channel ‘Being Indian.’ He considers “Being Indian” as a major key in his successful career. He was enlisted in “Top 30 Under 30” (For Sahil’s energy and constant passion for work) presented by Hindustan Times andIndia’s Top 10 Super Stars,by The Economic Times.

Sahil claims that Priyanka Chopra is the one who gave him the opportunity to write lines for her, while he was hosting India’s Raw Star. He then wrote lines for various artists including Shah Rukh Khan,Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and Salman Khan.
