The Romantic Comedy series Mismatched that released recently all over the globe features YouTube Sensation Prajakta Koli alongside the young and handsome Rohit Saraf who rose to fame from the movie The Sky Is Pink, Rannvijay Singha, and Vidya Malavade being starred in the prominent roles. The series premiered on Netflix on November 20, 2020. This coming-of-age series is written by Ghazal Dhaliwal and directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari.
The storyline follows the 2017 published novel written by Sandhya Menon titled “When Dimple Met Rishi“. The series follows the lives of two young minds who, as the name suggest, are not the perfect matches to each other. One of them i.e. Dimple(role portrayed by Prajakta Koli) is a technology worm while the other is so into her i.e. Rishi(role portrayed by Rohit Saraf). They are set-up by their families and create an iffy friendship where no hard feelings are. acknowledgeable at first but somewhere those real and deeper feelings stand behind and do not seem to be very far from them. They decide a long way together towards building up an Application whilst facing a blend of bullies, a snobbish professor i.e. Prof Siddharth Sinha(role portrayed by Rannvijay Singha), and managing their friend circle.
The is a total of six episodes with running time of 35 minutes each. It is a series of light teenage drama with mixed reviews. The ensemble cast has received positive reviews while the whole series is said to be not very promising but just a weekend binge-worthy if one really does want to watch it for college romance with no higher expectations. IMDb gives the series a rating of 5.4 out of 10 which is quite low as compared to the thrill that it generated among the viewers.

As season one ended on a close shave, there is high probability of another season to be on the cards which will begin from the rest point. The series has just arrived and it might be a little too early to be presuming about the next venture but the statistical figures may lead to the sequel as well.

THE CAST: There is a high possibility of cast remaining the same with little alterations. The protagonists are gonna be the same as before. We can expect some changes in the ensemble cast though. Let’s see.
The plot will be the continuation of season one which needs to work in the entire self including the screenplay, writing, and the direction part which may lead to better reviews and ratings unlike the debut season.
