Mirzapur, the prime video series already has left its remark on the minds of people and within 7 days of its release of season 2, it has become the most-watched and highly binge-worthy series on the OTT platforms. The first season of the series came on 16 November 2018. The series is based on action, drama, and thriller and encircles around extremely potent mafia Akhandanand Tripathi portrayed by super loved and super talented Pankaj Tripathi and his son Munna, played by Divyendu Sharma, who is at the state of doing anything to take over his father’s business into his hands but is unfit and unworthy for it. Season 1 consisted of 9 episodes and is rated 8.4 out of 10 by IMDb.
The series renewed for another season and it got to be premiered on 23 October 2020 but it released a day before the scheduled date. The second season created a lot of excitement even before it arrived, what happened when it finally released we already know about it. It has delivered a phenomenal result and this sound of success is going to be much louder when season 3 will release. The series is applauded for its plot and viewers are already in love with the characters portrayed by the actors. When everybody knew that Vikrant Messy won’t be a part of season 2 as he was shot dead in the first season, the fans and viewers were found to in a state of despair like something so important is gonna be missed.

Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of Excel Entertainments shared his words to the response that Mirazpur 2 has received. He said, “Mirzapur has become a worldwide phenomenon over two seasons of influenza. In order to make the Amazon Prime Video happen, we couldn’t be glad! Within days of its appearance, responses to social media shows. The extent of the audience’s love for the latest year see that and we are genuinely embarrassed.”
The release date of season 3 cannot be predicted as season 2 has just knocked the doors of streaming platforms but there indeed will be another season of Mirzapur because S2 didn’t end on a definitive note and so the story shall continue from where it had left in the next renewed season.

Vikrant Messy as Bablu Pandit was the leading character and one of the most loved characters as well but was shot to death, therefore, he had no role in season 2.
The character of Shriya Pilgaonkar as Sweety Pandit also came to an end at the same time when Bablu Pandit was shot down.
