Malika Rose Andrews was born on 27th January, 1995 (27 years as in 2022) at Oakland, California, United States. She an American journalist and reporter in the field of sports. She is one of the youngest reporters for the NBA conference finals telecast. She is also the host of NBA Today.

The American journalist has previously worked for many sports newspapers and outlets like “The Denver Post”, “The New York Times”, and “The Chicago Tribune”. Currently, she is a host for NBA Today on ESPN. In 2021, she moved from New York to Los Angeles for hosting NBA Today. In 2020, she was one of the first black reporters to enter the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the completion of 2019-2020 NBA Season. In 2021, she was nominated for an Emmy in the “Emerging on Air Talent” category. She has also been recognized for being ESPN’s only black female reporter so far by various societies such as “The Society of Professional Journalist”, “The National Association of Black Journalist”, and “The Columbia Scholastic Press Association”. She appeared in the Forbes list Under 30 for the sports industry in 2021. She actively appears on shows such as NBA Countdown, Sports center, Get up, around The Horn, The Jump etc. On 6th July, she was declared as ABC’s sideline reporter for the NBA finals association taking over Rachel Nicholas. In May 2022, she won the sports Emmy award for outstanding personality/emerging on air talent. On June 23, 2022 Andrews hosted the NBA Draft. She was the first female to do so.
