Born as Nakhat Khan, Khushboo Sundar is an Indian actress, TV presenter, film producer and politician who works in the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
She has worked in approximately 200 films and received several awards for her work, including the highest civilian award of the Tamil Nadu state, Kalaimamani award during her career of over 40 years.

Khushbu began her career as a child artist in Hindi film The Burning Train(1980). Her first lead role was against Jacky Shroff in movie Jaanoo(1985). She was introduced to the Telugu Cinema by the film Kaliyuga Pandavulu(1986).
Her formal entry in politics was marked way back in 2010 when she joined DMK, she is currently a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party(joined in 2020). In between her shift from DMK to BJP she also joined Congress in November 2014 after quitting DMK owing to internal issues.

Sundar has a long list of controversies for voicing her socially different opinions most troublesome being the 2005 incident when 22 complaints were lodged against her for publicly putting her opinion that ‘it is okay for the girls to indulge in pre-marital sex’.
