With the theatre group, ‘Asmita Theatre Group’ in New Delhi, he began his career as a theatre artist. He worked as an architect at FABINTERIORS, New Delhi, prior to his career as an actor in Hindi films.
In different Hindi films, he played a cameo role. In 2013, in the Bollywood film, ‘Raanjhanaa,’ he played the role of a theatre group member.
He acted in a number of South Indian movies as well. He starred in the Bollywood film Tamasha in 2015, in which he played the role of the long-time boyfriend of Deepika Padukone. In 2016, he made a cameo in the Bollywood movie,’ Tum Bin 2.’ In 2016, he appeared in the Malayalam movie,’ Mohavalayam.’ In 2018, in the famous Bollywood movie,’ Veere Di Wedding.’ He played the role of Nirmal (whom Sonam Kapoor briefly dates in the film).
