Gul Panag (born Gulkirat Kaur Panag, January 3, 1979; Chandigarh, India) is an Indian actress, voice actress, model and former beauty queen who participated in the Miss Universe competition. Panag began her career in Bollywood with the film Dhoop in 2003. Since then she has worked in films such as Jurm and the TV series Kashmeer.

Early life:
Panag began her studies in Sangrur, Punjab. Her father, Lt. Gen.Panag, was in the army and the family moved to various locations in India and abroad. As a result, she studied at 14 different schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas (Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh and Wellington, Tamil Nadu), the Lawrence School, Lovedale and the International School of Lusaka, Zambia. She did her BA in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, and her Masters in Political Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh. a student, Panag was interested in sports and public speaking. She has won numerous state and national debate competitions, including two gold medals in the annual national university debate competition.
Personal life:
Panag married longtime airline pilot boyfriend Rishi Attari on March 13, 2011 in a Gurdwara in Chandigarh in a traditional Punjabi Sikh ceremony.The couple have a son named Nihal who was born in 2018.
Career:
Panag won the Miss India title in 1999, and was crowned Miss Beautiful Smile at the same pageant. She participated in the Miss Universe 1999 pageant.
She has appeared in various advertisements on television. She is also the brand ambassador for Tata Sky, along with Aamir Khan. In 2009, Gul Panag was the Twitter Face for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
She played a commoner, fighting hard to keep her husband from going to the gallows, in the 2006 film Nagesh Kukunoor, Dor. In 2008 she starred in the movies Hello and Summer 2007. In 2009 she appeared in the movie Straight. starring in Rann in a role trying to stop her boyfriend from doing the right thing. Panag appeared on the front page of Maxim with whom she photoshooted in September 2008 She made her Punjabi film debut with Sarsa She was the candidate Aam Aadmi party from Chandigarh in the 2014 elections in Lok Sabha. .
