Randeep Guleria started his professional journey back in the year 1984 when he joined PGI as an assistant teacher. In 1992 he joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an Assistant Professor. He was later promoted for the rank of professor, the head of the Department of Pulmonology and Sleep Disorders. In 2011, he introduced India’s first centre for respiratory diseases and sleep medicine at AIIMS (Delhi). In the present scenario, Randeep Guleria is the director of AIIMS.
