Singh attended the Doon School of All-Boys Boarding School in Dehradun and then went to Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College.
Chandrachur Singh and Avantika Kumari are married. They blessed the couple with a child. There are two brothers in Chandrachur, Abhimanyu Singh and Aditya Singh. Aditya Singh is an Indian Movie maker. Aditya Singh The original Zee5 film called 377 Ab-Normal was recently released. Chandrachur Singh’s love of music is enormous.
In Tere Mere Sapne (1996), which was produced by the production company A.B.C.L of Amitabh Bachchan, Singh made his acting debut as the lead actor. He then won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his performance in the critically acclaimed Maachis, which was released later that year.
He appeared in several other films and succeeded opposite Aishwarya Rai with his leading role in Josh (2000), who also starred in Shah Rukh Khan and supporting roles in the very famous films Daag: The Fire (1999) and Kya Kehna (2000). His career reached a low after a few initial successes.
Singh’s mother was the daughter of the Bolangiriran Maharaja (Orissa).
Chandrachur used to take part during his childhood in some of his village’s cultural events and festivals, including the traditional enactment of “Ramayana.”
He had a dream that he would become a civil servant. Singh was a history and music teacher for one term each at Doon College, New Delhi in 1995, before becoming an actor.
