Sayantani Ghosh, Indian television actress known for her role in Naaginn and an ex Bigg Boss contestant spoke about her views on the nepotism discussion that happened on the current season.
Bigg Boss 14 like any other season is gathering attention due to a discussion that happened in one of the recent episodes. Rahul Vaidya, who is one of the contestants made a statement about Jaan Kumar Sanu. Vaidya called him a product of nepotism and subsequently faced a lot of backlash. His comment on Jaan Kumar Sanu sparked controversy and it got the attention of not only the viewers but also of a couple of celebrities.
Jaan is the son of the Kumar Sanu who is a legendary singer in Bollywood. Hence this conversation started in the first place.
Naaginn actress Sayantani Ghosh took to her Instagram to share her opinion on this current Bigg Boss controversy. The actress herself has been a contestant on the show back in 2012. She commented saying:
Sayantani clearly was not happy, she thinks the nepotism debate has become a gimmick to attract attention. She rather urged everyone to draw attention to more pressing matters such as woman empowerment.
