American actor Andrew Shue is best known for playing Billy Campbell on the TV show Melrose Place. He also had a brief professional soccer playing career.

Elisabeth Shue is an actress and is Andrew Shue’s sister. She is one of his movie co-stars. He co-starred with her in The Karate Kid, which was one of his earliest film roles.

Andrew Shue went to Maplewood, New Jersey’s Columbia High School. He was inducted into the CHS Hall of Fame in 1994 together with his sister.
Additionally, he enrolled at Dartmouth College, where he completed his high school studies. He played soccer in his early years of school and was a Regional All America. He used to study and play soccer over his winter vacation for Queen’s Park FC in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1989, Andrew Shue went on to complete his history B.A. at Dartmouth. Soon after finishing, he played soccer while on tour in Zimbabwe. Additionally, he was a math instructor at Founders High School.
PERSONAL LIFE

In 1994, Andrew married Jennifer Hageney, a floral designer. Three sons were born to the couple. But after being married for more than ten years, they divorced in 2008. Amy Robach, an ABC News journalist and Shue’s co-anchor on Good Morning America, proposed to him in 2010. Her recently married wife has two daughters from her first union.

Shue and Michael Sanchez, a boyhood friend and business partner, co-founded DoSomething. He is currently a director on the board. The social networking site CafeMom was co-founded by him. The website offers a place for moms to network and exchange ideas and tips. On May 24, 2018, Cafe Mom’s community forums were shut down due to high advertising costs.
Along with his sister, brothers, and brother-in-law, Davis Guggenheim, the Academy Award–winning filmmaker of An Inconvenient Truth, he worked on the 2007 feature film Gracie.
