They were accused for fraudulently involving in issuing bank guarantees or letters of undertakings at the mid corporate branch of the bank in the Brady house of Mumbai. After that, Ami Modi left the country along with her children on 4 January 2018 to get protected from the case. The directorate of enforcement handled this case.
